The Dream Center

The Dream Center is a non-profit organization designed to provide a mentoring program and educational services to at-risk students in the Randleman & Asheboro, North Carolina area. The center assists families in the Asheboro and Randleman areas by providing educational tutoring and mentoring for children, kindergarten through age 12. The center’s free services are especially for “at-risk” children below poverty level.

Staff is on hand throughout the year for both summer camp and after-school programs. The program is based on educational objectives, mentoring partnerships, enrichment activities and health and fitness. The center primarily focuses on the Randleman area, where statistics show that approximately 1,500 children, ages 5-17, are living below the poverty level. Long-term goals include expanding the center and growing as a community program.
