It's simple... love God. love people.
When Jesus was asked about the most important things in life, He said "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself." (Matt. 22:37-39)
We look at the life of Jesus, and we see what we are to do... "He went about doing good to all kinds of people" (Acts 10:38).
We believe it is up to us to engage the needs of our neighborhoods and our world. We can no longer wait for someone else to meet the needs that we see every day.
We do not place our missional focus above our quest to know God. But rather, it is out of knowing God that He leads us to do His work. We do not do good work for God, we do good work with God. God is on a mission to return His creation to Himself, and it is His desire that we join Him on this mission.
