Why do you call it North Ridge?

Welcome to a place called North Ridge!
The name North Ridge is inspired by two things.

First is Psalm 24 "Who can climb the mountain of God? ...we are the generation of those who seek You".

The picture of God as a mountain and ourselves as people in pursuit of God, helps us go from  where we are to where we want to be.

Second, we have a vision of one day having a North Ridge campus located on the north side of Asheboro along the 220 corridor. The next time you are driving north from Asheboro, take a minute to notice the small mountain ridges that line the highway. (Please drive safely while admiring the mountain ridges!) These ridges give us the feeling of strength and protection from the problems of the world. It is our desire that as we love God and love people, North Ridge Church would also be a place of safety and protection for the people in our community.
