Calling all cupcake-lovers! If you’re looking for a new spot to satisfy your sweet-tooth, we’ve got just the place! Woody and Debbie Loveland opened Hometown Sweets because they wanted to bring a taste of home (and delicious cupcakes) to Randleman. With glass cases of baked treats, ice cream, and old school candy lining the walls of the space, choosing one treat is nearly impossible. 

“My favorite is the strawberry cupcake,” says Woody, “but most people lean toward the Snickers cupcake.” 

Having been a driver for a racing team for the last 25 years and living on the road, Woody was excited to move back to his hometown and start this business with Debbie because it meant spending a lot more time with their grandkids and being active in their community.

Their local community is everything to Debbie and Woody, which is why they get to know every customer who walks in the door. Between baking cupcakes and dipping ice cream, Hometown Sweets also sponsors local sports teams and offers a place for families to stop in for ice cream after the games. 

Woody says, “I want our shop to be known for its small town feel; to be known as a place where everyone is family.”
